The "High Country State of Green Address" will be a quarterly update, promoting our areas greenest local business, organizations, and regular folks who work to create a better and more sustainable community here in Western NC.

For the first installation we will hear the latest news on issues of:

Local Food
Energy Issues
Green Building
Alternative Transportation
Green Businesses
and Green Events

All of this with the opportunity to mingle with the areas best resources for all things green at Boone Green Drinks.

It’s a great way of catching up with other local people involved in “green” services and also making new “green” contacts. Boone Green Drinks is among 12 other North Carolina communities and 640 cities worldwide that host monthly gatherings of sustainably-minded people who meet to informally discuss green business, green services and green activities.
