On Saturday, July 22nd, at 2:00 PM the Watauga County Public Library is pleased to welcome local musicians The King Bees blues duo for a special presentation, “The Blues in History”.

The Todd, N.C. – based duo - husband-and-wife team Rob Baskerville and Penny Zamagni - will bring their musical virtuosity to the library in a program combining performance with background on the history, evolution, and cultural significance of blues music in the United States and around the world. Singer, bassist and songwriter Zamagni and guitarist / multi-instrumentalist Baskerville have decades of experience in learning from and playing with greats from the American blues scene.
