The Blue Ridge Chapter of the North Carolina Native Plant Society invites you to attend the March 14th meeting in Boone. Our program this month will be presented by Sara deFosset, an Outreach Associate with the Hemlock Restoration Initiative (HRI) in Asheville. She will be speaking about North Carolina's native hemlocks, the challenges they are facing and the work that is being done to restore them to long term health in the state.

Meetings are held every second Wednesday of each month at the Holiday Inn Express on Blowing Rock Road in Boone and start at 7 PM, but the room will be open around 6:30 if you would like to come early and chat with other native plant enthusiasts.

Please note our inclement weather policy: In the case that the Watauga County school system cancels school for the day of our meeting we will not have our regularly scheduled meeting. If there is just a 2 hour delay we will have our meeting.
