This new class is held on Tuesdays, July 10 – August 7
Metalsmithing 101 will introduce students to the basics of metal working including technical skills, building and problem solving. Emphasis will be on the fundamentals of working with hand tools to gain proficiency in sawing, riveting, soldering, simple forming and finishing techniques. Through small projects, students will
learn to incorporate these skills to create unique jewelry designs. Supplies are included in the class fee. Additional metals and materials are available for purchase during class.
