Description

Come join the Blue Ridge Chapter for a tour of the Daniel Boone Native Gardens on July 11 in Boone! For this month we're holding our meeting outdoors at the Daniel Boone Native Gardens at 651 Horn in the West Drive. So bring your walking shoes and dress for the weather!

We will have brochures and other resources available to answer all your questions about gardening with native plants, and info stations placed around the Gardens from 7-8 PM to learn about a variety of topics as you walk around, such as medicinal uses of plants, gardening for birds and pollinators, landscaping with native plants, plant identification, and raising butterflies.

The Gardens are funded by donations, so for this event we ask that you drop a $2 donation for the Gardens into the box at the Gatehouse to receive your door prize ticket.
