Crossnore July 4th Festival

Thursday, July 4, 2019 - 10:00am

Downtown Crossnore NC

The FOURTH OF JULY Sponsored by the Volunteer Fire Department is Crossnore’s biggest event. Beginning at 10:00, a CRAFT FAIR and activities are set up in the Sales Store parking lot. Hamburgers and hot dogs are for sale by the Fire Department. In the afternoon the PARADE prepares to march at 4:00. After the parade there is free watermelon for everyone and other goodies are sold for fundraising by the local churches and community groups. Children enjoy games in inflatable play places and a fabulous real FROG-JUMPING CONTEST. Live music fills the air while the evening finishes with a STREET DANCE at 7:00. At nightfall the firemen put on a FIREWORKS display equal to any other in the area. EXPERIENCE A BIG EVENT IN A SMALL TOWN.
