Description
Enjoy summer concerts on the Jones House lawn every Friday at 5 p.m. from June through August. Concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Parking is free in downtown after 5:00 p.m.
Built in 1908, the Jones House offers visitors a glimpse into the early-20th-century, especially as it applies to Dr. and Mrs. John Walter Jones. Since 1983, the Town of Boone has owned the Jones House, operating it as a center of cultural arts, with historical exhibits, the Mazie Jones Gallery, weekly Thursday night old-time music jams, as well as Junior Appalachian Musician programs.
